Good tips you gave. I’ve invested time in foot conditioning, though not to the point of scampering over all creation without a care. I also wear my 5fingah’s for much of my fitness. Right now I’m doing alot of barefoot plyo work too (Insanity vids) on soft grass.

- Markus, thanks again for your comments. I should say that I do have a bunch of videos on Youtube. Granted, they’re not “full length” and only run about ten minutes, but I put them there to pique people’s interest in the various subjects discussed, and to give them some food for thought. And to show that there is “another side to the story”.
If you go to my Youtube Channel you can see all the videos.
Not sure how people get 1 hour videos on Youtube… I think it may be a “for-a-fee” service that Youtube provides. When I’ve watched one hour talks there, I had to watch them in 6 parts, which isn’t a terrible thing.
I’m still feeling my way around with the M word (marketing). I inherently don’t like marketing, I see how it’s used to promote worthless programs that people adopt because the practitioner is very inspiring/convincing, but because of the realities of health that I’m aware of, I know that some decades down the road these folks are going to be very disappointed… and that’s putting it mildly. So I’m always careful not to appear too much like some of the other health practitioners, because then my free offerings can seem suspect to some. I was actually asked to leave one of the raw forums because I was told I was participating there just to sell things. And this is funny considering that of all the people who have things to sell, I probably have the least, and I give away so much free info on my website as you know (I’ve been told by marketing gurus that I’m foolish for letting people read my entire database of articles without requiring their email address). So I was shocked that this is what people thought about me… well two people actually, but one was the moderator of the forum.
Not sure if you can attend, but I just found out about a raw food high fruit low fat festival in August in upstate NY. Are you on my email list?

I agree that there’s a lot of free info on the internet, but that doesn’t mean that all that info is spot-on, and that if one just partakes of the info that is free, he or she will be able to garner all the solid, correct info they need to create robust health. If sometimes you have to pay a few bucks for the well-researched, hard-science-based info, I think it’s a good investment in your future health.

- Markus, sorry for not replying sooner… I discovered your comment quite by accident just now (I thought I was supposed to be notified via email when someone commented; oh well).
I had thought about putting my one hour talks on Youtube, but as they’d have to go on in ten minute chunks, I was turned off to the idea. The DVDs I sell are of my 3 hour classes, which are too long to put on Youtube. Plus, I do charge for people to attend these classes or to “attend” the classes via DVD. I’d love to make all the things I sell (which aren’t many) free, and if I ever hit the lottery I will. But selling my book, the DVDs, and the rebounder is what puts food on my table, and I do have to eat. And I see nothing wrong with selling my work (for a fair price). When I said, “I’m not in the business of selling products” I meant that I didn’t create a website for the sake of selling things; in fact, when I started my website, I didn’t sell anything, just provided the free info via my articles and links to worthwhile products that other people sold. But I had other income then and could afford to do this. Now is a different story. I know there’s a lot of free info out there, and if you go to my website you can read the 85+ articles without being forced to supply your email address or subscribe for a fee. And I have made my book available to those who really need the info but can’t come up with the $20. But when I was doing my research, I found the funds to acquire the materials I wanted, and I had no problem paying an author or lecturer for their work (well I had no problem philosophically; I did have to scrounge to come up with the money sometimes).
