why i write

Not for me. I wanna live forever and there is a growing part within me that believes we have known each other forever and that our names and identities are just temporary costumes we use until we can discard them and drown in each others arms and eyes and bodies and minds and run away forever and laugh forever and cry forever and scream forever and create forever and ever. You are all the evidence i need. And if its only once then i’ll take it and make you remind me of all this when i forget because i will, i always do. That is why i write poetry and songs. To remind myself of you.
