VICEVOIDS is an audio/visual project that was launched on September 1st, 2020.
It was born out of the chaos of the times: global pandemic lockdown, heartbreak, depression, addiction and trying to figure out what all these religions are talking about and why for some people there seem to be these invisible barriers preventing access to this so-called kingdom of god or some stupid self-help seminar or social support group.
For people like us, music is the only religion there is. Our club is inside speakers and headphones. And sometimes movies and books. Music is our escape when life gets too crazy. But also our soundtrack when it gets too bittersweet and you wish those moments could last forever. With music, they can.
Music cuts through all the dum dum woo woo bullshit. The great songs are our gospels and prophecies. The players, performers and creators our gods. The audience and people are the birds and bees that travel between flowers so the nectar can continue to flow as rivers sunbeam rivers of ethereal sound candy. All these parts and wacky metaphors are necessary and intertwined. We suffer to know what euphoria will soon feel like again.
There really is no genres or any of that major label supermarket crap that grandpa likes. Don’t let those old mafia perverts fool you. MUSIC IS MUSIC. Whatever the style.

There is sound.
