You gotta become two people:
1) artist
2) entrepreneur
Obviously it would be idea to find someone to be the second one like a record label or manager. But until then you gotta do all the jobs. You are a business now. If the toilet is broken you gotta fix it. Until you can afford to hire muscle to do the dirty work.
This took me forever to understand.
But it also keeps things interesting.
The game has changed in some ways, in many ways it hasn’t. All the old business rules apply.
