To Be Fully Raw or Not?

like most of my writings, this is partly for myself. and to remind
myself of certain things. kind of like those tattoos the guy got in the
movie Memento to remind him who he was. maybe i just like to make
things interesting 😀

a week ago i once again lost my way completely… giving in to the drug called food. been binging on crap since then… hard to break the cycle
still eating tons of fruits and veggies among the drugs

all the people i know are drug addicts. for me it’s very hard to live with them and be drug free myself. i have tried again and again. currently reading “Principles of Anatomy and Physiology by Gerard J. Tortora and Bryan H. Derrickson”.
interesting stuff.

also currently learning about Dr.Joel Fuhrman who has a different approach to what Doug Graham does but is mostly in line with it… i’m kind of in between (apart from being a drug addict that is). Joel doesn’t think it’s a good idea to be fully raw.
Doug does.

it’s hard…
yeah boohoo
life is difficult
we try our best
each on our own little path
my road seems rockier than others but i think eventually I will see that this is my greatest asset as long as i don’t let it become my downfall
so much other stuff going on
but i crave fruit even now

i am digging for the truth
i need to know myself and not just listen to others… even scientists
just gotta remove all that other clutter from my life to fully appreciate what is truly healthy and what is not

i know what i have to do and how to do it
i just need to KEEP doing it and stay on the path
i will when there is no more doubt left
about what i really want:
health and happiness

PS. funnily enough my last attempt also ended when i decided to try banana
island. i have done research on this mono-meal thing and I must say I
am very unconvinced that this is healthy. especially with bananas.
there’s no one single food we can live on and thrive. we need the fruit
and the greens. besides, our bodies don’t recognize “whole foods” as
such but the substances they break down into. same problem with
fasting. i also don’t think fasting is a good idea unless it’s the last
option to get well. we need certain nutrients for our systems to work
properly and detox. as for me, bananas kill my digestion and make me
miserable. no it’s not detox. when your digestion is impaired, this
naturally affects your well being. Yes things will work differently
when I am actually in my natural state. this is something i haven’t
been in since I was born. i am going to talk to Doug about it.
