Sweet Little Tragedy

This is the music video for my song Sweet Little Tragedy from the Dukkha album. It was directed by @[100002164374224:2048:Kasper Raidam]My thoughts on the video: it was well made and the song is good although I don’t play it anymore and haven’t for years. I just think the character in the video would’ve been better if he was stone-faced all the way through as the lyrics are already expressing enough intensity.

What is the song about?

Every man has a war to fight. Choose your battles wisely. As an artist I have dabbled in the dark arts. Part of the game. Gotta be willing to go where others won’t. That has caused a lot of problems for me because I never prioritized music as some career or profession or something. For me art is survival and sanity. Without my songs I would be long gone lonesome blue. And fame would’ve killed me. I’m too sensitive for that shit.

Thank the gods things went down the way they did.

But at some point I upgraded my ideas regarding creativity from suffering into creativity as celebration and ceremony. Communion with the divine. And integrating all of those.

That’s where I’m at now. And on fire. Burning bright.

Music is the language of the Gods.
