I wrote this song a week ago. It was just one of those that come from nowhere and just flows out, demands to be released. There’s no thought involved at all in the writing process, it just happens, just comes out from… somewhere deep I guess.
The song is about a girl I met online many years ago after I had abandoned my life and went off to travel. We got to know each other very intimately and… well, I gave too much and not enough at the wrong times. The crazy thing is, we actually never met in person although we were supposed to. Sounds pathetic I know. To fall for a girl you never even met. I’m such a god damned fool. I want things that are infinitely distant and when I get what I want, I destroy it.
Ugh, finally a quiet night at home, have been going out every night for like forever. Drinking heavily. Smoking cigarettes. Sleeping around. It all comes with a price. I’m gonna go write more now and distract myself from this hangover. bye.
