journal entry

recording going well. last week got everything working. now i am rolling. one song per day. that’s my objective. about 60 song to record. should take 2-3 months because some of the songs are more work than others. doesn’t mean they are better or worse or even longer or more instruments. sometimes the simplest song can be the hardest to capture. it’s been many years since the last album. many things have happened since then. i’ve erupted like a volcano. bloomed like a flower. artistically speaking… or i should say i am erupting. blooming. yeah. i am ready to take on the world. this page will document how everything shapes out. i’ll put songs up as they are done. photos and videos eventually as well. a diary to express where my head is at and how things are progressing. the project is called 27. why? because that’s the greatest age to ever exist. for an artist that is. after that it’s all downhill…hahaa. although it will be another 21 days until i actually turn 27 myself so what the hell do i know. haven’t decided yet if i will compile some kind of ‘real’ album out of the best songs. the conventional album format bores me. i think i just prefer to give everything away for free. you know, stay poor. stay hungry. i like the idea because it goes against everything. i like doing things the way they shouldn’t be done. it prevents me from not knowing what kind of swamp my next step will succumb to. sometimes that swamp will swallow you whole but sometimes it can be a tunnel into wonderland. trust me, i know.
