Lately been kind of in between jobs
getting high, getting lost
Some days are alright
But then there are days like toady
When everything is too good
It’s almost too much

Lately been reading about jesus
and the early christians
Never really understood what they were all about
But I think i’ve finally figured it out
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you
Also known as the Golden Rule
Or is it more accurate to say
Those who have the gold make all the rules
I dont really know, lost all my confidence
But today I found it again
Felt so good, got so much done
Now gonna enjoy the evening sun
Knowing tomorrow might be an even better one
