A mini-essay on God, War & Religion
There seems to be a standoff in science between big bang theory vs steady state universe theory. And it seems to be the same stand off between god the creator (or creation itself) vs infinity which would make the idea of god obsolete.
If there is a god, who created god? And no i am not capitalizing that word. Fuck that. Or is the unfolding of reality itself god? Are we in a simulation? Or are we the masters and slaves of our own destiny ie. mind is god (god is in the mirror).
There are no clear answers to these questions at least for me and it might be modern-unemployed-city-man privilige to even think about this stuff. It astounds me how every religion and their endless denominations (demonizations?) think they have it all figured out. This plurality is proof to me that none of them do.
Religion is not about god but about control of the lower classes (fools) by those in power. Everyone is an atheist to every god but their own.
Modernity began when farming began 10k years ago. And then the narcissistic ego human developed 4k years later when the sahara dried up. All war started then due to perceived scarcity of resources. And all violence, poverty, crime, hate is an extension of that war against nature. A hungry/hurt/lonely human is a very dangerous animal and easily manipulated because despair creates urgency.
