Please give three or more typical day’s worth of food, if your diet is extremely varied. If one day tells the story, then one day is sufficient:

DAY 1

lunch: big bowl of fruit consisting of 3 bananas, 3 clementines, 5 handfuls of green seedless grapes

big salad, steamed broccoli, potatoes, varied meat dish,

bowl of weetabix with lactose free skim milk, 2 pieces of “so called” whole grain toast with butter, cheese and ham

snack: vegetable soup steamed + 2 loafs of rye bread with butter

dinner: pizza (with cheese, ham and pineapples as toppings)

evening snack: snickers bar, can of coke, chips

In a nutshell: my diet is all over the place but I still consume quite a bit of fruits and greens + water. Oddly enough, more than anyone I know. But yes, I admit, not enough.

Outline your physical activities:

I have been very inactive (fitness wise) for last 2-3 months
but besides that I like to do

* running
* long walks
* swimming
* yoga
* stretching
* bodyweight calisthenics
* meditation

Note: My fitness training has always been fairly inconsistent. Like living healthily, it always lasts for 2-3 months and then I “fall of the wagon” again. I have never really been in either good OR bad shape. I have never had problems with weight. I have gotten very thin while eating only fruit and veggies but I now know that that was due to simply not eating enough calories.

How many hours sleep do you get on average per week?

56 hours

Health history specific to your consult:

* no “life/death” health conditions

* diagnosed with “depression” (non major type) mid-september 2010 (what does that even mean??)

* inguinal hernia in lower abdomen (scheduled for surgery–> i’m in a queue)

* suffer from intense spring allergies with symptoms of: runny nose, watery eyes, etc.

* I get some kind of flu virus about twice per year

* suffer from food addiction

* possible alcholism but not sure (I think it’s a blanket term)

Do you smoke, or have you ever smoked? If yes, for how long and how much?

Yes, but never regularly. Usually when drinking I smoke 3-15 cigarettes.

Do you drink alcohol, yes or no? If yes, please give details of your alcohol consumption:

Yes. For the last few months I have been drinking 2-3 times/week socially and usually for a 2 days or more and then stopped for a week only to do it again. The hangovers have been very bad and the mental aftermath has surely affected my moods. During the last 2 years I have been through periods where I don’t drink for 5-6 months. In that time I am usually doing a lot of fitness and eating a lot of fruit and greens. Again, I seem to go back and forth. The hedonism gets worse and deeper everytime. Then again, I get more and more into the health thing every time also. The former one might eventually kill me if I get in too deep. The health thing would probably save me if I let it conquer me completely; if I surrender to it. This is a huge struggle for me.

Do you consider yourself to be currently experiencing a lot of stress in your life? If yes, do you know what from?

Yes. I think it is due to a lack of stability in my life. My life is not in balance. I have fought being in balance for too long. I have this inner conflict as to should I pursue health or hedonism? Hedonism is easy, lazy and quick. Health is a lifetime, it’s hard work, it’s guts and power. I feel that both pursuits can’t be met (maybe I’m wrong about that since health most likely offers the greatest pleasure of all in the long run). I have also led myself to believe that ‘suffering’ is the price I have to pay to do what I do best which is make music and perform it. I have let this fear dictate my life for too long. I know that this thinking is wrong rationally but being ‘down and out’ is a place I feel myself at. Or it is the ‘self’ that I have come to identify with. Then again, when I vision my ideal self, I see myself as strong and focused and not dependent on some overly romanticized mythologies on what an artist should be. I see the ideal me as someone who has overcome that. Someone who wants to be healthy and fit. Someone who is mentally strong and who is at peace with himself. Someone who doesn’t need to give in to society’s ways in order to feel accepted. All in all, I KNOW that health is the right path. All this inner noise seems to be the root of my ‘stress’. It causes me great stress that I can’t get the support I need from society to actually live a life that is congruent with the well being of not just myself, but the world. This causes me to have negative feelings toward society, towards humanity. It is a challenge reminding myself that I have to be that beckon of light for others. I should take pleasure in knowing that my positive energy would reflect back on them instead of expecting everybody else to lead me somewhere they might never even go or want to go. Or even know. Maybe I’m just scared to leave something of me behind. Fear of change, if you will.

I have also been living with my parents and little sister for past 7 months which is often very stressful and frustrating. They don’t support my choices and don’t understand that I am actually just trying to feel better. They see me feeling like crap and think they know what my problem is. They think if I was more like them, everything would be fine. They judge me for not being like them. I am sure they want me to succeed and be happy but they don’t understand what it takes for someone like me to get there. Someone who is not willing to go the dumbed-down route of mediocrity and sickness and lies and corruption. I feel like I have no privacy. When I do, I cherish it. Also, the town is far away from where all my friends are. I often feel lonely, depressed, isolated and reclusive, when here. But I spent the last 7 months here because I was recording my new album and I could stay here for free while recording it.

Luckily I am moving into my own apartment in Helsinki (3 hour drive away) on November 1st.

How long ago did you last take anti-biotics?

A year ago I took penicillin for having an infection in my throat. Two years ago I took some antibiotics for a sinus infection.

Your Goals

I wish to help you in reaching goals; not to superimpose mine upon you. A clear understanding of your goals will help us stay focused. This list may be short or long, specific or general.

What do you hope to gain from our work together?

I want what you have. Listening to your audio stuff, watching your videos, reading your books, reading your posts online, your facebook updates, articles or other people’s opinions and stories about you tells me something:

This guy walks the talk. This man is somebody I actually look up to. I want to learn all I can from this man. He is a leader and he knows where he is going and where he is leading those who will follow. I want to follow. I am willing to be led.

I want to shine. I want to glow. I want inner peace. I want mental strength. I want my body to be in a “normal” state, return it to it’s equilibrium. I want to not get sick. I want to be the fittest and healthiest person around and live long (of course I would love it if everyone was healthy as well…). Most of all, I just want to feel good. Feel happy. Enjoy my life. Have fun. I am full of love and passion and I want to share this with the world. I don’t want to wake up one day and realize I’m 60 and my health is in pieces. I don’t want to wait until I’m really sick for me to get healthy.

I also want to be inspired like never before and really unleash my creative side. I have a feeling there is a goldmine to be explored when I get rid of all the haze… This is a deep intuition I have and I think this has brought me back to your world again and again. So perhaps, I’m just a slave to my art in the end 😀

How you would you prefer to consult? Email/Telephone:

I wouldn’t really mind either one. The good thing about email is that they can be read again and again. The good thing about telephone or skype is that the interaction is more communicative and perhaps intimate and not as one dimensional. I would prefer both. I wouldn’t mind meeting you either at one point or another. If finances permit me, I can travel to wherever it would be convenient.

Which of Dr. Graham’s educational books, CDs and DVDs do you own?

I actually bought and read 801010 book in July of 2009 while I was on my first 30 day 811 lfrv experiment. Since then I haven’t read the book but have attempted to get back on the program several times but have failed every time for reasons that are not so clear to me. I have made excuses mostly, I believe. So I have had immense difficulties with staying on it. It’s been very much an on/off thing. Or else I have been on the program but not 100%. I have also watched the several online lectures which can be found online for free. Every time I start listening to them (and I eventually always do) I realize new things and usually start eating more fruit again if not 100% then at least quite a lot. I have also listened to most of the audio programs (Perfect Health, Cause of Health, etc.) which I got from a friend and have learned a great deal from them as well. When I have the money, I would like to get everything that is available but then again, I know I don’t need those to actually start living the way I should. That is just another excuse.

How did you hear of Dr Graham/FoodnSport?

Through the forums on www.TheZeitgeistMovement.com

There was a thread called “the correct way to do raw food”. This was back in the May/June of 2009.

I was eating mostly plants at the time and that’s really how I got introduced to the whole movement and actually realized this can be done. The thread was started by paradigm667 who is otherwise known as Mario Coss. He embedded a video of one of Dr Graham’s lectures and I believe also recommended the 801010 book which I almost immediately purchased when I saw the videos or at least when I decided I want to try this diet.

I’ve never even considered eating raw any other way then 801010. I think it’s the way every single human being is meant to eat. Most people think otherwise. Unfortunately.

Many people have difficulty actually forming their questions, so in order to save us time and money, please write them below, as clearly and succintly as possible. Your questions, and how you state them, will tell me a lot about understanding of issues. It will help me in creating an appropriate level of response. Of course, more questions will come up as we speak, and after we speak. We will address them as well, eventually, if you like. Subsequent questions tend to be more concise.

What questions do you have?

Was it hard for you to start eating and living this way when you were starting out? To my understanding, you were around my age, correct? I want to know more about your possible struggles early on when attempting the hygienic lifestyle.

Why can’t I seem to make the diet/lifestyle work for me? I suspect it’s not about the diet per se. It’s about not being in touch with who I really am. I am weak. I am spineless. Do you agree?

Is it possible to continue living the life I live while still adjusting my food/lifestyle habits accordingly? I mean my career and still socializing with the people I socialize with because I am currently building my network and trying to really get a following going for my music in order to have that part (work, career, money) at least fairly stabilized.

What is the common denominator that all who are successful on this path share?

Is it possible that because I’m not sick nor am I an athlete that I am simply not motivated enough to do this?

Do you suggest I go to other resources to fix my other problems (depression, alcoholism, etc.) or do you think the source of all my problems is really just the basic things? I would love to hear your suggestions on this and your experiences with possibly dealing with people like myself.

In one video you described yourself as a life coach. Do you still take on that role or is it just more “foodnsport” these days? I don’t mean to demean it with the word “just” as I think what you do is the essence of well being.

Is it important for me to read your books, listen to the audio tapes, watch the lectures, be on the diet for awhile before we begin working together? As I said, I’ve only gone through them once. I am going to read, listen, watch them regardless again. I have learned so much from my personal experiences that I will probably take them all in a whole new way.

Is there any information you feel is vital for me to know about you, or anything you want to add?

I am not a millionaire. Heck, I’m not even a thousandaneer. But I remember somewhere I heard you say “I can no longer afford NOT to do this”. I’ll sweep the streets if I have to. Scrub toilets. Sell my guitars. Okay, I won’t do that…

Also, I am aware that you are not a therapist but it seems to me that you take quite a thorough approach to helping your clients. I am also possibly interested in working with your wife on the more emotional stuff if that is an option. My mom wanted me to go back and give the “shrink” another try. I told her I would rather put the money to something that I actually think would help me. Oddly enough, she said she would pay for this basic consult although she knows and I told her that a big part of your whole thing is eating fruits and veggies which my parents completely disapprove of. Interesting situation we have here. Will they support me or not? We’ll find out.

If I could afford it (and when I can), I would (and will) hire you as my life coach and mentor.

I would also like to mention that I talked on skype with this man called Gerald Daily who you have helped greatly and who speaks highly of you. He was really the catalyst for me finally getting in touch with you and doing this.

Thank you.

PS. I hope you received my album in the mail!
