BOOK REVIEW: Hook Point (Brendan Kane)

Rating: 1/5

I usually don’t review books after 3 chapters but this book deserved one! I gave up continuing it and felt obligated as a human of earth to share my thoughts.

It basically unintentionally describes (or attempts to) everything that is wrong with social media. Not only that it is quite exhausting to read just like the author’s previous book.

The writing doesn’t flow. The chapters are way too long.

There’s something about this author and his thing that I just don’t resonate with at all. It’s like everything he says lacks any meaning or depth.

Avoid at all costs. Or give it a shot and you will know what I mean pretty early on if you’re anything like me.

Personally, I am done with social media especially IG and FB. They will not help anyone become healthy, wealthy or happy which are the only 3 things we all really want. In fact, these platforms will do the opposite. Zuckerberg is an evil person. He basically makes his money from digital trafficking. Selling our data for advertisers…

Youtube is okay for passive watching (never comment or engage or click any stupid buttons).

Goodreads is cool because at least it supports something that is really good for us.
