A bit difficult to rate this one. It feels incomplete so I am guessing there will be a third volume at some point. The tone and style of the book also feel different than the first one Porcelain which I really loved. At some point the youth chapters started to get boring and I wanted to just see if he actually manages to quit his addictions and get help. But the debauchery stories continued until the very last sentence. Apparently he is straight edge now so it will be interesting to hear what happened for the last decade. I am still going through his music discography and I can’t say it’s anything special besides Play. Moby is a better writer than musician.
