What a weekend I had! Had a show on friday, saturday and sunday and they all were probably my best performances so far. Also went skinny dipping with friends in this swamp pond in the middle of the night after driving home from the festival I played at outside the city. It was nice to see some estonian countryside. Last night I finally got a chance to play at the wine terrace Luscher&Matiesen in Toompea overlooking the city with the sun shining mightily above. Maybe my new favorite place in Tallinn? Drinking some fine white wine there while I played and in between the sets talking to new people and then in the evening we got free tickets to the Regina Spector show in Kadriorg which was incredible (although we only saw the last 30minutes). The after party @ Red Emperor Bar (my favorite bar here) was wild! Of course not much sleeping during these last 3 days and lots of drinking and smoking and socializing and other things I won’t mention here (you know, the children)! Today has been spent continuing work on my new song “Love is Life” which will probably be online wednesday evening. I have a few shows this week on thursday @ CLAYHILLS GASTROPUB and the wine terrace again on friday evening (i’ll be including piano on both of those shows). So I have some chance to re-load the batteries. Quite exausted honestly. Reading Be Here Now by Ram Dass. EP, single and music video + release event parties to come in a few weeks so lots of stuff happening. So much work to do. It’s fun though… doesn’t really feel like work. Life is awesome now (yeah yeah shut up I know I have my ups and downs but it’s all self-generated). I’m kind of embracing this artistic madness like never before. Normal seems a lightyear away. Routine seems a distant memory. Time for bed. Good night. I know you’re reading ms. goddess, I miss you and I enjoy missing you. xo
