fuck man after spending some time watching youtube vids and reading comments and studying the world for last 40 years, i realized that i havent made it because i am playing an entirely different game… social media, celeb culture, pop music, influencers, music festivals, music press, and all that is like one big kumbaya fuck fest
i play a completely different game so why try to make it in someone else’s world??
i dont know if there is even an industry for what i do
mystics, poets, saints, outlaws, etc etc…
true artists cannot be commodified or homogenized
we are wild men and we thrive on the outskirts of society
in the fringes
we are a different breed
lots of these bands, actors, artists, etc start off with that fire burning
but eventually they give in to the comfort of fame and all that shit
or kill themselves to preserve that freedom
