summer love poems

We were so in love
that love became something else
we forgot to even notice
the days filled with
laughter
sunshine
sex
sweat
cum
movies
books
music
food
sleep
swimming
poetry
drawing
sauna
more sex
we walked in the forests
and you captured me
with your camera
even when i was grumpy
birds and bugs dancing
dog exploring free
walk around the garden now
many years later
thinking of you
called you, told you
we talked and remembered
this was the closest we could get
to teleporting into each other
and in the evening a duck
was sitting on top of a rock in the lake
i stood on the dock and said
hey little friend
he yawned and i wondered if
he was also thinking
about an ex lover
i then went
back to the house
to eat my dinner
with endless joy.
