What is your narrative?

I was a happy kid. Had food on the table. Milk in my cornflakes. And video cartridges in my nintendo. I played ice hockey, ate hot dogs, banged on the piano now and then and loved John Lennon, Nirvana, Queen, punk rock and shitty 90s euro techno. Life was easy. I was good at school. We lived in a big house on a street full of rich people. We had a golden retriever and I would go on adventures in the lakes and forests with the other kids on my street. I was a paperboy and sometimes would buy a new CD like when I heard Led Zeppelin on the radio for the first time. At xmas, Santa came down the chimney and left lots of presents. I was weak, sensitive and simple. Sometimes adults got mad and lost their tempers. They all seemed so serious and tense. Where is the fun in that? I wanted to be a kid forever and focus on my lego skills or make-believe war with my action figures and Van Damme movies that sometimes had some tits and ass. Then real life began and the bubble burst. Suddenly everything was difficult. The world had changed, I had changed, everything was different. New continent, new country, new house, new school, new friends. What the hell is happening I wondered. So I doubled down on guitar and started writing my own songs to process whatever I was feeling. Girls, alcohol, death, success, fame, talent, depression, autonomy, family, sex, love and hope. But I didn’t know any of this so I spent the next 20 years understanding why, how, who, when and where. I learned the following: It’s all a story. You are the hero of your own struggle. You can be anyone. CHOOSE WISELY.
