to the worlds beyond

pursue greatness
at all costs

welcome home
we laugh, we learn
we cry in the dark
with our lonely thoughts
lonely together
as the seas roar
and the clouds roam
i am filled with the sort of intense joyous relief
that can perhaps only be felt by those
who have befriended suffering
and walked in the shoes of madness
a place where the wits cannot reach
we are blinded by orrow’s bright lights
encompassed in her warmth and armour
the world is always changing
everything is evolving
we must become one, with the gods
even whenit feels like we cannot keep up
we wanna give up, exhausted and lost
it was not fire nor mushrooms nor imagination nor brain power
that elevated us from the chimps
but kindness
make that your new religion
