where this night takes me
got no barriers, no limits, no expectations
no responsibilities
no reasons, no worries, no drama, no dalai lama, haha
just me and you and them and us and everybody else
drinking our drinks, thinking our thinks, lifting our weights
weights on our shoulders, on our hearts, on our moments
trying to have it
or even some of it
that golden sweetness
that sad comfort
we like to feel
that madnessss
we long to find a companion for
those times we messed it all up
showed our teeth
grawled, crawled, clawed, sprawled, falled, stalled
here we are
me and you
you and me
stuck in this moment
we can get out of.
